Refund Policy
The baseline cancellation and refund rules for bookings made through Roama listings.

Overview
This policy describes the general approach to cancellations and refunds for activities listed on Roama.
At the current MVP stage, Roama does not process payments on behalf of organizers. In most cases, travelers pay organizers directly.
Provider-Specific Terms
Each activity may have its own cancellation and refund conditions defined by the organizer.
These terms may be shown in the listing or communicated during the booking process. By making a booking request, you agree to the organizer’s terms.
Traveler Cancellations
If a traveler cancels a booking, refund eligibility (if any) depends on:
- the organizer’s cancellation policy
- the timing of the cancellation
Late cancellations or no-shows may be non-refundable.
Organizer Cancellations
If an organizer cancels a confirmed booking, the organizer is generally responsible for offering:
- a refund (if applicable)
- rescheduling
- or an alternative solution
Roama may assist with communication, but does not issue refunds for payments made outside the platform.
Exceptions
Roama may review exceptional cases (for example, safety concerns or clear listing inaccuracies) on a case-by-case basis, but does not guarantee any particular outcome.
